COLDWATER — Branch County Sheriff Correction staff are investigating introduction of cocaine into the jail over last week. The issue came to light when Stephanie Nichols, 37, was sentenced after pleading guilty to resisting arrest on June 14 when confronted by Coldwater Police. said she had no drug abuse issues. She tested positive for cocaine after corrections officers suspected she and two other female inmates appeared high on drugs. All three tested positive.
