| Prison escapee caught in McDowell County |

MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — Authorities in McDowell County on Tuesday captured a man who escaped from a work assignment at Harnett Correctional Institution earlier this month. Michael Dewayne Clark was captured in McDowell County and turned over to the N.C. Department of Corrections. McDowell County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Chris Taylor and Det. Patrick Guion and Marion Police Department Cpl.
