LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A second person is now being charged in the death of an inmate. 32 year old Sarah Yerian was found dead in her bunk on February 8, 2017 in the Shiawassee County Jail. There were no signs of foul play, and police did not believe it was a suicide so an autopsy was performed. Thursday, September 29, Mindy Portner was arrested by the Shiawassee County Sheriff's office for her part in Yerian's death. Read More. |
