| Inmate charged with assaulting cell mate in fight over towel |

A 23-year-old Dilworth, Minn., man is accused of trying to strangle his cell mate at the Ward County Jail on Saturday because of an argument over a towel the other man had left out. Da Shawn Jamal Morris is charged with aggravated assault, a Class C felony. According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court, the alleged victim said Morris grabbed him around the throat and squeezed until he could not breathe and shoved him against the concrete wall in his cell.
