Clinton County murderer dies in prison |

CLINTON, Iowa( KWQC) - Robert Jean Robinson was pronounced dead early Wednesday morning. According to the Department of Corrections, the 74-year-old man from Fulton, Illinois died of natural causes at 1:12 am in a hospice room of the Iowa Medical and Classification Center where he had been housed due to a chronic illness. Robinson was serving a lifetime term for first-degree murder in Clinton County. In 1999, Robinson was found guilty in the shooting death of car dealer, Tom Tague.
