|Clinton County murderer dies in prison|
CLINTON, Iowa( KWQC) - Robert Jean Robinson was pronounced dead early Wednesday morning.
According to the Department of Corrections, the 74-year-old man from Fulton, Illinois died of natural causes at 1:12 am in a hospice room of the Iowa Medical and Classification Center where he had been housed due to a chronic illness.
Robinson was serving a lifetime term for first-degree murder in Clinton County. In 1999, Robinson was found guilty in the shooting death of car dealer, Tom Tague. He was killed at his Clinton business on April 20, 1998.
