Three Louisville (Ky.) Metro Corrections officers have been suspended and face criminal charges. Sgt. Robert Arnold, Officer Joshua Spenton and Officer Scott Dejarnette were arrested while at work, WLKY NewsChannel 32's Maria Gum reported. They're charged with fourth-degree assault and official misconduct in the first degree, both misdemeanors. Corrections officials won't give many details, but they said the charges stem from an incident involving an inmate at the facility, 32-year-old Adrian Garner. Metro Corrections Director Tom Campbell said it's too early to comment on how fellow officers are reacting to the news. "The arrest warrants were just issued, so I really haven't been able to gauge the morale issue at this point," he said. The three officers currently are suspended without pay.
