MONTPELIER — The state Department of corrections says a Vermont inmate has died in a Pennsylvania Department of Corrections facility. Officials say Roger Brown, 68, was pronounced dead early Sunday from a medical issue. The Burlington Free Press reports he was being jailed at the SCI Camp Hill prison facility in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Mike Touchette, deputy corrections commissioner in Vermont, said Brown was “receiving the appropriate level of care” but declined to reveal the inmate’s medical condition. Read More. |
