| Inmate serving life for murder dies at Carson City prison |

CARSON CITY — A 74-year-old inmate who was serving a life sentence for first-degree murder at Carson City's state prison has died. The Nevada Appeal reports that Samuel Blake died on Tuesday at the regional medical facility inside the prison. Blake was committed from Clark County in August 1980. Read More. |
