Avoid driving a high-risk vehicle or expensive car if you're able to. High-risk vehicles are the manufactures and models of cars that insurance companies consider to be vulnerable to theft and hi-jacking, cheap auto insurance with no deposit and your premium will be raised accordingly. Additionally, expensive cars tend to be costly to fix, so that you can expect your insurance premium to be greater than if you had a cheaper car.
