| Inmate hospitalized after being assaulted by another inmate in Iowa |

ANAMOSA, Iowa (KWQC) - One inmate has been hospitalized following an assault by another inmate at the Anamosa State Penitentiary. On Monday, Oct. 23, just before 5:45 p.m. inmate Michael Waddington was found unresponsive in the kitchen area of the penitentiary. Jones Regional Medical Center was notified and an ambulance arrived at 5:55 p.m. to take Waddington to Jones Regional Medical Center. He was then transported to University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics with serious injuries. Read More. |
