An Albany County woman was arrested on a number of charges Saturday after attempting give drugs to an inmate inside Downstate Correctional Facility, police said. State police from the Wappinger barracks said Cohoes resident Erin N. Kowalewski, 39, was a visitor at the Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill Nov. 4. While there, she intended to provide drugs to an inmate. According to police, Kowalewski was in possession of Diazepam, Suboxone, Hydrocodone, and marijuana. Read More. |
