A Seminole County (Fla.) Jail inmate died early yesterday after collapsing in her cell late Wednesday. Joy Marie McClain, 57, of Plant City, was pronounced dead at Central Florida Regional Hospital at 12:03 a.m., Sheriff's spokesman Steve Olson said. The woman suffered from heart and breathing problems and had received treatment at the jail earlier in the evening, he said. McClain was arrested March 29 on a warrant charging her with violating probation on an original charge of grand theft, Olson said. She was being held without bail awaiting a May 16 court hearing.
