| VADOC looks to hire more veterans |

RICHMOND, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- A state department currently says almost 12 percent of its workforce is made up of veterans, and it is looking to hire more. According to a release, the Virginia Department of Corrections has employment opportunities for military service members when they return to civilian life. The department already works with the Virginia Department of Veterans Services in the Virginia Values Veterans, or V3, initiative that links veterans and employers. Read More. |
