The New York State Department of Corrections & Community Supervision is warning the public of a convicted Rapist who violated his strict and intensive supervision on the loose. A manhunt is on for a convicted rapist and registered Level 3 sex offender who cut off his Global Positioning System ankle bracelet and was last seen in Rome Wednesday afternoon, according to state Corrections officials.
