| Death investigated at Idaho State Correctional Center |

BOISE, Idaho - Early Sunday morning Donald Ray Morton Jr., 55, was found unresponsive in his cell at the Idaho State Correctional Center south of Boise. Medical staff were called and when they arrived Morton was able to communicate with them. Morton lost consciousness again a short time later. He was pronounced dead at 7:58 a.m. Sunday. The Ada County Sheriff's Office is investigating Morton's death at the request of the Idaho Department of Corrections. Read More. |
