| Homicide investigation underway at Cheyenne Mountain Re-entry Center |

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Department of Corrections (DOC) are investigating a death that happened at the Cheyenne Mountain Re-entry Center. The center is in the 2900 block of E. Las Vegas Street, which is a privately run center contracted through the DOC. It prepares former inmates for reintegration into society, according to their website. The incident happened last week on November 20. The attack involved offenders. No correctional officers were injured. 11 News first investigated the incident on November 21, but the center only said they were not allowed to disclose any information. Read More. |
