| Inmate Who Was Injured After Jumping Identified |

On November 26 at 1:40 p.m., an inmate at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility only slightly injured himself after jumping off a tier about 10-15 feet above where he landed, according to Lt. Mike Fridley of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department. The inmate jumped from one tier of the jail and came down on a table. He went to the hospital, but he had received only minimal injuries, Fridley explained. “He was transported to St. Joseph Hospital and received treatment…[He] is back in the correctional facility,” Fridley said.
