TSCI inmates gain experience through gardening |

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) -- Tecumseh State Correctional Institution has roughly 1,030 inmates, and five of them got to work in a garden. "There's a lot of good guys in here and good people, if other people got to do what [we] got to do it would produce a lot better people coming out of this prison," said Wes Blessing, inmate, TSCI. TSCI has had the garden for eight years and staff members said the inmates get rewarded for good behavior with different privileges, such as spending time outside. Read More. |
