Police found an escapee from the Morgan County, Ala., Jail annex at a residence on Beech Street Southwest on Saturday night, according to Sheriff Greg Bartlett. Cortez Pierre Randolph, 21, is back in jail with a new charge of first-degree escape. Originally, Randolph was in jail awaiting a probation violation hearing. Jail personnel discovered Randolph missing Saturday around 3 a.m. When police took him back into custody Saturday around 10 p.m., they also arrested his girlfriend Kristy Miland and charged her with hindering prosecution, Bartlett said. Miland, 20, of 802 Ashley Drive S.W. is free on $750 bond, according to jail personnel. |
