| Idaho County Jail inmate dies |

Justin R. Ross, 21, of Cottonwood, was booked into the Idaho County Jail in Grangeville on Thursday, Dec. 14, at 9:45 a.m., on an Idaho County warrant for Fail to Pay on Trespassing to Hunt without Permission. As Ross admitted to being under the influence of an intoxicant, and he was having difficulty with his balance and speech, he was placed in the maximum security cell and jail staff began fifteen minute safety checks.
