CATLETTSBURG, Ky. - Two escaped inmates of the Boyd County Detention Center remain at large after police found one walking Wednesday afternoon on Jason Road near Cannonsburg. The Catlettsburg Police Department caught Joseph Tyler Salyers around 3:30 p.m. with help from the Ashland Police Department and Kentucky State Police. Salyers escaped the Boyd County Detention Center with three other inmates about 3:30 a.m. Dec. 28, 2017, after they allegedly broke the lock on a pipe chase, climbed into the ceiling and removed an HVAC unit to get on the roof.
