Kareem Savage, 29, is accused of kicking and stomping to death fellow prisoner Anthony R. Wilson in September 2016. An inmate from Philadelphia already serving a life sentence in a 2008 homicide was ordered to stand trial on Tuesday in the killing of a fellow convicted murderer at the State Correctional Institution at Albion in 2016. The defendant, Kareem Savage, 29, is accused of kicking and stomping to death inmate Anthony R. Wilson on the afternoon of Sept. 1, 2016. Wilson died a little more than three months later. Springfield Township District Judge Chris MacKendrick ordered Savage held for trial on homicide and other charges following a preliminary hearing. State police charged Savage in November.
