Sheriff's Office captures escaped inmate |

Angelina County Sheriff’s deputies captured an inmate who escaped from the county jail on Monday while working as a trusty outside the jail. Sheriff Greg Sanches said jail staff noticed Kevin Ray Ceasar, 42, of Corrigan, was missing following a headcount of inmates. At the time he went missing, Ceasar was on a work detail to clean patrol units at the jail, according to Sanches. Ceasar was last seen wearing a black and white striped jumpsuit, walking toward a wooded area behind the jail. Read More. |
