Wyoming Inmate Jenkins Dies at Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution

Torrington – Curtis Allen Jenkins, a Wyoming inmate, died from a lengthy illness on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington, Wyoming.

Jenkins was sentenced on October 16, 2015 by Natrona County District Court Judge Catherine E. Wilking. Jenkins was serving the first of two 7-10 year consecutive sentences for two counts of Knowingly Taking Immodest, Immoral or Indecent Acts with a Minor. He was also serving a concurrent prison sentence out of the First Judicial District Court in Nebraska.

Jenkins was born on November 30, 1962 in Lusk, Wyoming.

As per departmental policy an autopsy has been ordered.
