A former Akron man serving time in federal prison posted a video to Facebook Live from his cell last weekend, apparently claiming responsibility for the 2010 homicide of 19-year-old LaDonte Smith, Fox 8 Cleveland reports. Joe L. Fletcher, 30, is in the U.S. Penitentiary in Atlanta and is scheduled to be released in May. He posted video on Facebook apparently using a smuggled cell phone, the television station said. The Federal Bureau of Prisons couldn’t say how Fletcher posted the video, according to Fox 8. “I run Akron man,” Fletcher says in the video, which is nearly an hour long. “I’m the biggest thing in Akron.” Read More. |
