| Woman inmate, 62, dies at Everett Jail |

EVERETT, Wash. - The Snohomish County Sheriff's office is investigating after a 62-year-old woman being held in jail died Thursday afternoon in Everett. The Sheriff's office said around 2:30 p.m. a corrections deputy found the woman in her cell in need of medical attention. He immediately called for medical aid and began CPR, but attempts to revive the woman by staff and medics were unsuccessful. She died at the scene. The Sheriff's office said the woman was a transient and was booked into jail by Everett Police on Jan. 19 for a 2nd degree domestic violence/criminal trespass warrant. Read More. |
