QUINCY -- Preliminary autopsy results show that a Quincy man held Friday in the Adams County Jail died of natural causes. Adams County Sheriff Brian VonderHaar said corrections officers at the jail found Samuel L. Hedrick, 57, unresponsive as they distributed breakfast Wednesday morning. "He didn't get up, and that's when they checked on him and realized he wasn't breathing," VonderHaar said. "CPR was started on him, and they waited for the ambulance to get there." Read More. |
