| Florida inmate found unresponsive, dies in hospital |

PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - An inmate has died after being found unresponsive in a general population unit at a Florida jail. Officials in Escambia County said in a news release that the 37-year-old inmate died Monday evening after arriving at a hospital in Pensacola in Florida's Panhandle. The release says the jail's medical director Dr. Paul Henning responded to the initial call and rode with the inmate in the ambulance to administer care. Read More. |
