STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A man with a more than $10 million bond is facing new charges after reportedly attacking an Oktibbeha County jailer. John Arnold Jr. is now charged with one count of Attempted Escape and one count of Simple Assault on a Detention Officer. Investigator Brett Watson says Arnold attacked the jailer in the exercise yard this afternoon, February 27, and then went into a secure hallway. Read More. |
