| Tennessee inmate hot wires ATV, steals meth and cash from evidence room |

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--A Tennessee inmate made a brazen escape on Sunday after stealing an ATV, meth, and cash from the evidence room. The Weakley County Sheriff's Department says inmate Clinton Laster was serving as a trustee at the Weakley County Detention facility when he hot-wired a 4 wheeler impounded at the jail. Laster only made it a few hundred yards from the jail where he wrecked the ATV and fled on foot. Canine units from Benton County and the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) helicopter were deployed, locating Laster in a wooded area near the wreck. Read More. |
