A work-release inmate escaped Sunday night and could be in the Baton Rouge or New Orleans areas, according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office. Lynndrick Huey, 24, left a work release van Sunday night while other work-release inmates were being picked up and transported in Baton Rouge, Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hicks said Monday morning. Huey was arrested on drug counts in New Orleans. He may be in the Baton Rouge or New Orleans areas, Hicks said. Read More. |
