Inmates found guilty in attack |

HOLLIDAYSBURG — Two Blair County Prison inmates were convicted Thursday night on all criminal charges filed in last year’s assault of a fellow prison inmate with tobacco in his rectum. At the end of a four-day trial, the jury deliberated about two hours before finding Charles M. Frank, 44, and Maurice D. Wakefield II, 24, guilty of felony charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, criminal conspiracy to commit involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated assault, assault by prisoner and aggravated indecent assault. The jury also rendered guilty verdicts on misdemeanor charges of terroristic threats, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. Read More. |
