A Correctional Officer at Limon Correctional Facility was seriously assaulted by offender Ryan Spear #150588. Staff that responded were able to stop the assault, and restrain offender Spear. The staff member was transported and treated for non life threatening injuries. Offender Spear has been transferred to another facility. The incident will be investigated by the Office of the Inspector General. No further details can be released at this time due to the active investigation. |
