Lincoln inmate placed on 'walkaway status' apprehended in Nance County |

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Nance County Sheriff’s Office has apprehended an inmate who was placed on “walkaway status” from the Community Corrections Center in Lincoln. Authorities said Tuesday morning around 3 a.m., Jeremy Kudron was apprehended at a farmhouse south of Genoa, Nebraska. The Nance County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from a man who stated Kudron was in his farmhouse alone. The owner of the house gave authorities permission to enter, and Kudron was found hiding inside the residence. He refused several verbal commands, according to authorities, and a TASER was deployed.
