KAILUA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Authorities are searching for a Women's Community Correctional Center furlough inmate who failed to return to the facility on Tuesday night. According to state sheriffs, 61-year-old Wendy Canon was scheduled to return by 9 p.m. Canon was serving time for promotion of a dangerous drug, but now faces an additional escape charge.
