| Suspect Accused of Killing Maine Deputy to Face Judge |

The Maine man accused of killing a Somerset County sheriff's deputy last week is expected to make his initial court appearance on Monday. John Williams is scheduled to appear at the Capital Judicial Center in Augusta at 1:30 p.m. Williams is currently detained at the Maine State Prison in Warren. A statement from the Department of Corrections described the move as a routine request by the Somerset County Jail that's undertaken when additional security precautions are needed for an inmate.
