Final reports released on Yuma prison disturbance

YUMA, Ariz. - The Arizona Department of Corrections released final reports on the Yuma prison disturbance that happened in March.

According to the Arizona Department of Corrections, 600 inmates were involved. The inmates threw rocks, set fire to mattresses and other property, and broke into the prison health unit.

Since the incident, a team was appointed to conduct an assessment that included criminal and administrative investigations.
