NEW: Inmate sentenced in Palm Beach County escapes Bradenton prison

A woman serving three years in prison for cocaine possession in Palm Beach County escaped Sunday from a Bradenton facility, according to the Florida Department of Corrections.

Authorities say Silver D. Bean, 37, left the Bradenton Bridge Community Release Center, a female community-release site, at about 12:30 p.m.

Bean, who was living west of Palm Springs, was arrested on the cocaine charge in June 2016 in Belle Glade, according to Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office records. She was sentenced to prison in May 2017.
