Lawyer charged with smuggling drugs into Plymouth jail for inmate |

A lawyer allegedly used her attorney privileges to smuggle Suboxone into the Plymouth County House of Correction last week for an immate, officials said Thursday. Elana Gordon, 42, will appear in Plymouth District Court for arraignment Thursday on various drug charges, District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz’s office said in a statement. Gordon was arrested Wednesday night. She was nabbed in connection with “a several-months-long investigation . . . into smuggling of contraband substances” at courthouses and the jail, the release said. Read More. |
