Metro officer fired for alleged assault of inmate |

Louisville, Kentucky, Metro Corrections Officer Steven Ross has been relieved of duty after being accused of violating policies and procedures. An inmate claims Officer Ross assaulted him on April 23rd. A report shows the incident happened between Ross and inmate Michael Troutman. Ross says he was joking around with Troutman when he handcuffed him but Troutman says he was assaulted. Ross has filed a grievance over being fired. The first grievance meeting is set for this week. |
