| State lifts limits on care packages for prisoners with TVs |

Break out — the popcorn. The state prison system has lifted strict care-package rules for convicts who have access to their own TVs. For years, those in the 10 TV-eligible facilities were only allowed two food packages a year from the outside. But prisoners at those locations can now receive as many boxes of goodies as their loved ones want to send, according to an April directive.
