County supervisors extends DHS lease at annex |

The Iowa Department of Human Services has one more month to figure out where to relocate three employees working in county-owned space following a decision Tuesday by the Marshall County Board of Supervisors. The move follows the board’s action earlier this month to not renew a lease for the DHS personnel to use the space at Marshall County Community Services, 101 E. Main St. “That’s the building that we call our annex,” said board Chairman Bill Patten of the space. Instead of the lease being up on July 1, the board voted unanimously to extend the lease to July 31. Board member Steve Salasek said that gives DHS administrators extra time to move the three department staff members to a different space. Read More. |
