FDOC holds second hearing on inmate visitation |

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Department of Corrections will hold their second public hearing on proposed changes to inmate visitation on Thursday. But many people across the state aren't happy with those proposed changes. Thursday they plan to pack that public hearing to speak against the plans, and after the hearing they're taking their voices to the Governor's mansion to conitnue. The Florida Department of Corrections say they brought about the proposed changes, which would alternate weekends that families could visit inmates, to decrease the overflow of families coming in and decrease contraband coming into the prisons.
