Inmate sentenced for fracturing back of county prison guard |

WILKES-BARRE — A woman who pleaded guilty to causing a fracture in a Luzerne County prison guard’s back must spend at least two years behind bars. Kassandra Lee Martin, 37, of Vandling, Lackawanna County, was sentenced to 12 to 24 months in prison on a count of aggravated assault, which will be followed by an identical term for possession of a controlled substance as an inmate. She also faces six months of probation for a charge of resisting arrest. But that will be served consecutively, or at the same time, as her prison term for the second count. Read More. |
