A prison inmate has allegedly spoken of wanting to set off a bomb at Sydney’s City2Surf fun run, sparking a bid under new anti-terror laws to keep him locked up. The NSW government launched Supreme Court action to have a Continuing Detention Order (CDO), the first application of its kind, to have the 28-year-old held beyond his release date.
