An inmate remains on the roof of Chelmsford Prison as he waves and shouts at passersby. He climbed onto the roof at around 12pm yesterday (June 11) and the prison service has been working to get him down since. Officers arrived afterwards and cordoned off Sandford Road, with it stretching as far as Kingston Crescent. Read More. |
