Centene subsidiary re-awarded correctional contract in New Hampshire |

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections has re-awarded a contract to a Centene (NYSE: CNC) subsidiary to provide medical and dental staff to facilities. The contract, which begins July 1 and runs four years with two optional years to renew, was announced Tuesday between the department of corrections and the subsidiary, Centurion of New Hampshire. The contract was held by MHM Services, which was previously acquired by Centene, according to a release. Centurion will provide medical and dental professionals on site at New Hampshire prison facilities. The department of corrections operates three state prison facilities, three transitional housing units, a forensic unit and a secure psychiatric unit with an average daily population of about 2,500.
