| Search ongoing for inmate who escaped work detail in Union County |

UNION COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA (FOX Carolina) - Officials with Union County, SC Crime Stoppers said deputies were searching for an inmate that escaped from Union County Detention Center on Wednesday. Crime Stoppers said inmate Joshua Stephens left from the Jonesville area wearing all orange. Investigators said Stephens later ditched his orange shirt and may be wearing a white undershirt with orange pants. We reached out to Union County Detention Center, which confirmed Stephens was in custody on charges of possession of marijuana and driving without a license. Read More. |
