Lincoln, Nebraska — A Nebraska State Penitentiary inmate who suffered from a long-term condition died Wednesday afternoon. In a news release, corrections officials said Dennis Shupe (49), inmate #86866, died at 4:20 PM at the Nebraska State Penitentiary.
