LARNED, Kan. (KSNW) - “When I first came to prison, no, I didn’t think of anything,” said Larned Correctional Health Facility inmate Joseph Bradley. “I thought I would probably get worse.” Bradley and Xavier Pennington have been in prison for almost a year, but they aren’t letting the barbed wire fence stop them from accomplishing their dreams. Dreams to receive a high school diploma and learn skills before they return to society, Pennington said. “I ain’t staying here.” Pennington added. “I got stuff to live for, got kids and got more important stuff to do than sitting here and rotting away.” Read More. |
